Это не из-за топлива, это турбины- ГАВНО!

Another thing to listen out for is a gentle turbo whine that slowly builds up when the engine is idle for 5-10 minutes once hot. A dab of the accelerator sorts it out but its something I noticed about 10k before the catastrophic failure.
If you get a situation where you put your foot down and hear a high pitched whine from the engine along with reluctance to accelerate you should lift off immediately as that is exactly what I experienced just before the overboost and the failure.
I have 262,000kms on mine, its had 1 DMF and 2 turbos, other than that I can't fault it. Make sure you do your oil changes bang on when they should be done (15,000kms) and use the proper spec oil. If you have to do a turbo at any stage, do not go the main dealer route ( I dont mean to offend any Skoda employee's, its just too expensive) use one of the established recon turbo company's (Turbo Technics). The PD140 is very economical and fairly grunty(even more so with a re-map).

My PD140 is currently at 107,000 miles.
The turbo exploded at around 70,000 miles.
The flywheel and clutch were replaced at around 80,000 miles
Just had a new tandem pump fitted today thanks to poor starting since 44,000 miles.
It has been regularly serviced on QG1 variable at Skoda main dealers and had a new cambelt bang on 80,000.
The fuel economy has bever been very good, SWMBO's PD170 vRS does miles better MPG.

Вкратце опишу. У человека свистела турбина, при чем со временем все сильнее и сильнее. Он ездил к дилерам, но те не нашли никаких неполадок. Через две недели он разгонялся на дороге, услышал сильный хлопок и все(как он выражается). Турбина развалилась на две части, лопасти вообще улетели. Итог: новая турбина, интеркулер и выхлопная труба.
Новая турбина при пробеге в 36 тыс. миль опять начала свистеть.
Наверное, топливо у "них" все же лучше, чем у "нас".
